Our Mission & Vision

The Los Angeles Brass Alliance (LAB-A)’s mission is to foster connection, community, and artistic opportunity for emerging brass professionals in the greater Los Angeles area. 

Our vision is to set a new standard for an inclusive, curious and artistically ambitious brass culture in Los Angeles. 

Who We Serve

We support emerging brass musicians as they transition from academic to professional life in L.A.,  providing a space that serves as a professional training ground and creative workshop. Members are provided opportunities to network with other emerging musicians and develop their craft with full artistic vision. 

We also serve a diverse array of composers and arrangers, who receive a platform, professional assets such as recordings and conducting experience, connections with musicians, and artistic authority. 

Lastly, we serve the  wider brass community, from young students to established professionals, by providing a focal point for brass performance in Los Angeles via our concerts, workshops and other events.
