Social Media Coordinator
Ricardo Reyna (he/him) is a Mexican conductor, studio recording musician, wind pedagogy specialist, and passionate music educator based in Los Angeles, California. A dedicated advocate for the transformative power of music, Reyna’s work bridges concert performance, education, and community engagement.
He can be heard on The Hollywood Collection with the LAFCI Studio Orchestra, featuring a vibrant new arrangement of “Ran Kan Kan” honoring the song’s 75th anniversary. As a performer and collaborator, Reyna’s versatility has led him to work with celebrated artists such as Angel Velez, Roger Neill, Tito Puente Jr., Arturo Sandoval, David Washburn, Rob Schaer, Doug Tornquist, Jennifer Jolley, and Giovanni Santos, among others.
Reyna has served as Artistic Music Director for institutions such as La Sierra Academy, San Diego Academy, La Sierra University Academy of Visual and Performing Arts, the Anderson Conducting Academy, and most recently, Glendale Adventist Academy. He also holds appointments as Associate Conductor of both the Glendale Youth Symphony and the Mission Philharmonic, and was recently invited as Guest Conductor with the Manila Symphony Orchestra in the Philippines.
Reyna’s dedication to collaborative learning and artistic growth has taken him to workshops and stages across North America and Asia, including engagements with the Los Angeles Brass Alliance, Long Beach Symphony, Orquesta de Baja California, Adventist University of the Philippines, Andrews University, La Sierra University, Azusa Pacific University, USC Thornton School of Music, UCLA, and Michigan State University, as well as the Los Angeles Film Conducting Intensive.
