Zoe Mark

Zoe Mark is a Los Angeles based trumpet player and multi-media artist. She loves playing in all different settings and wants to bring music to new settings. Zoe is currently developing a concert program where she uses textile arts and the trumpet to create an immersive concert for the audience and has presented this program as a solo recital to the community. Zoe was a finalist of the 2021 Next Generation Trumpet Competition as well as a recipient of the Betty and Edwin Orndoff Scholarship for the Performing Arts. She holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and Master of Music in Trumpet Performance from Shenandoah University. Throughout her studies, she has played in many different ensembles, touring Argentina with the Shenandoah Symphony Orchestra, playing in the Ruebush Brass Band and in the pit with Broadway conductor Patrick Brady. In 2022, Zoe served as principal trumpet for Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre's summer season. Additionally, Zoe has performed with the Los Angeles Film Conducting Institute Collegiate Orchestra, the Colburn Lab Orchestra and plays regularly with the Los Angeles Brass Alliance. As an educator Zoe maintains a private lesson studio and works as a Brass Specialist with an award winning marching band in the San Fernando Valley.Â
